Module 1 - Chapter 2

This sheet belongs to the colour mixing recipes section. I somehow couldn't add in between the other pics.

I used Procion dyes to dye my papers. Using procion dyes for this exercise was a good choice for me because it made me mix the colours in a more conscious way which will probably enable me to get more precise results when dyeing my fabrics.

This is the cover of my diary. Painted bondaweb was applied to kunin felt, then foiled. The word "Diary" was embroidered on vanishing muslin then ironed to dissolve it just a bit.

Module 1 - Chapter 1

I forgot to post this picture. It was the inspiration for my stamp.Posted by Picasa

Module 1 - Chapter 1

This exercise turned out to be more difficult than I thought. At first I tried to paint the wheel with my acrylics, but that wasn't a good choice. The finished colour wheel is actually the third try. I liked the mixing of the different colours. It helped me to unterstand how colours are composed, especially the blue, indigo and purple. I was amazed to see how colours change when you add just a little bit of black.
